When it comes to Lipstick , Orange is the new Black, or Red rather. And that “the orange lipstick trend” has been captivating the red carpets and fashion runways. Several celebrities were spotted wearing different shades of orange. Like, Camilla Belle with a bright tangerine lip in an Oscar Party, Emma Watson pulled out her orange lipstick at the New York premiere of Noah and a bright neon orange lipstick was the shining element of Kate Bosworth’s make up look on the Art of Elysium red carpet. I was so inspired by their looks and how the orange lipstick added a glow in their faces. Since I have a pale skin with yellow-undertone, maybe it will suit on me as well. The first brand I have ever tried with this colour was from Laniege (Serum Intense Lipstick in Solar Orange). It was recommended to me by one of their Beauty Associates in Ion Orchard branch the day I bought the BB Cushion Pore Control. But I didn’t settle on it, I searched for other brands for an option. The lipstick I wore on the pictures above was from By Terry. While strolling along Orchard Road, we took time to stop in Paragon shopping centre and while window shopping, I came across this one beauty store, called Escentials. One of the beauty brands they’re carrying is By Terry, who has a wide collection of make up and skin care. And so I tried their lipstick (Rouge Terribly Age Defense Lipsticksorry I forgot the number of the shade. Actually I wanted to buy it but it was out of stock that day. How sad. Well, I think it’s not meant for me. But then I really like how it brightened my dull skin. I wore it all day and this product didn’t dry my lips. It was worth a try!
