It my pleasure to introduce to you my daily Beauty Essentials and I call it The Magic 7

Here’s a list of basic makeup essentials I use everyday to create a Natural, No Makeup Look. As much as possible I want to keep things natural and these items really helps me to achieve it like a MAGIC.

  1. Eye and Cheek Palette −  This Tarte Limited-Edition Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye and Cheek palette (that’s a mouthful) is my first ever go-to palette. Having said that it’s a “Limited-Edition”, doesn’t really bother me because I can always find an alternative if they stop producing it. — I’ve been happily using makeup products from Tarte. This brand is always formulated without the so called “parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate and gluten” that’s the reason why I got so interested about it. *Available at Sephora Singapore S$45.00
  2. Loose/Setting Powder − After I apply BB/CC cream or foundation on my face, I always keep in mind to set it with a loose or setting powder. I like to use Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian clay finishing powder (that’s a mouthful again). It keeps my makeup in place and it is suitable on my skin which is a good thing. *Available at: Sephora Singapore S$47.00
  3. Makeup Brushes − Oh! how I love my Real Techniques brushes. They say, “Brushes make all the difference when it comes to getting a professional-looking makeup application”, Yes it’s so true. Even you’re not a professional makeup artist you can achieve a professional-looking makeup application with the help of these brushes. If you’re looking for a good quality and affordable makeup brushes. I would really suggest you try the Real Techniques brushes. Nothing can go wrong with it! *Available at Guardian/Watsons Singapore S$18.00 – S$ 49.00
  4. Mascara  Sometimes I don’t wear mascara but when I do, I’ll use Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara. This award-winning lengthening mascara is definitely a must-have since my eyelashes aren’t long enough. *Available at Sephora Singapore S$25.00
  5. Brow Gel − Using a brow gel alone is one of my biggest tricks in creating a natural makeup look. Currently, I am using Eyeko Brow Gel to shape and define my eyebrows. Girl, you must try this product if you like “natural-looking” brows! *Available at Sephora Singapore S$32.00
  6. Lip Balm/Treatment − I use Fresh Sugar Rosè everyday to treat my dry lips. Since it’s a tinted lip balm, it has become my “saving grace” if I’m feeling lazy to put lipstick. *Available at Sephora Singapore S$29.00
  7. Facial Mist/Spray − Most of the time, it’s so hot and humid here in Singapore. Due to this kind of climate my face gets red easily, irritated and dry, very dry which I really don’t like. I’m so glad I found this thing called “Facial Mist/Spray”, it changed my life. What a lifesaver! Lately, I’ve been using Caudalie Grape Water. Sad to say, it didn’t satisfy my needs so I had to look for another option. Now, I’m using Avène Thermal Spring Water which is way better than Caudalie grape water. *Available at Guardian/Watsons Singapore S$30.00 – S$53.00
